This week: Ottawa released a fiscal update that shows that the country is headed towards a $343-billion deficit this year. Canada has not seen such spending by the federal government since World War II and a lot of that spending is the result of the benefit programs that have been rolled out amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Libby and guests follow up on the latest developments.
Also, Canada’s unemployment rate is the lowest compared to other countries in the G7. We talk about that too.
