CARP (Canadian Association of Retired Persons) has launched a campaign “Heat or Eat” designed to put pressure on the Ontario government to bring down hydro costs for struggling Zoomers. After polling CARP members, it was discovered that a whopping 36% of its members were unable to keep up with rising electricity bills. This means people are being forced to make cut backs in other vital necessities such as food, medications and even heat. Libby is joined by Wanda Morris, Vice President, Advocacy and COO of CARP to tell us more about this important campaign.
