The third of seven rounds of negotiations for a new North American Free Trade Agreement wraps up in Ottawa today. Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland is hosting her American and Mexican counterparts for a series of meetings. But, with the major issues expected to be pushed forward into a fourth round in the coming weeks, the prospect of finishing by the end of the year is becoming more unlikely. President Donald Trump continues to take a protectionist tone during NAFTA talks, suggesting NAFTA could be terminated, tweeting that both Canada and Mexico are being “very difficult.” But, how will the NAFTA talks impact Canadians and what type of affect are they expected to have on companies like Bombardier?
