The King Street Pilot Project begins next month and TTC CEO Andy Byford is calling it the biggest change to King Street in a generation. Byford says he’s confident the changes will improve the TTC’s busiest surface route and may actually increase the number of people taking transit on King Street. TTC commissioners approved a set of guidelines to monitor the success of the pilot. Transit advocate Steve Munro dropped by our studio to talk about it.
