The Wynn government is creating a new agency to deliver home-care. It will hire personal support workers directly and start providing home care services in the spring. The new provincial agency will be called Personal Support Services Ontario and will serve clients who need the most home-care hours each week. But, agencies currently providing this care are not happy with the plan, and are calling for it to be stopped. We speak with the President and Founder of the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association, Miranda Ferrier, and Sue VanderBent, CEO of Home Care Ontario about it.
