The City of Kingston is considering doing away with seniors’ discounts on municipal programs and services, such as transit and replacing them with discounts based on income. This is supposed to be a cost cutting measure  and is meant to help those most in need. Residents are asked to give their input in an online survey that’ll be on the city of Kingston’s website until December 15th. we spoke to Wanda Morris, VP of Advocacy for CARP about the future of senior discounts and Jon Callegher, PHD-Sociologist and Marketing Professor at George Brown College
