A new study released by the Fraser Institute shows the number of doctors in Canada lags far behind other developed countries and according to the the authors if the current trends continue, Canada likely won’t close the gap in the future. We spoke with the associate director of health policy studies at the Fraser Institute and co-author of the new report, Bacchus Barua and Dr. Mary Fernando, who has been researching this area for the past decade.
