The Canadian Institute for Health Information crunched some numbers to reveal  surgical wait times are increasing. On the positive side, this is happening as more people are receiving life-altering procedures. To further clarify we spoke with the President of the Ontario Medical Association, Dr. Shawn Whatley and then to the Surgeon-in-Chief at Women’s College Hospital, Dr. David Urbach who told us about same day orthopedic surgeries he’s had great success with.
