Following the weekend ice storm Toronto City Councillor Jim Karygiannis said the city failed residents by not immediately clearing roads and sidewalks. While Mayor John Tory said this was a strategy to keep melting snow away from the catch basins. Transportation Services General Manager Barbara Grey says clean-up is continuing past the contract deadline of midnight on Sunday and city crews were out last night clearing roads, high traffic areas, sidewalks, lane ways and bus stops. Libby spoke with Councillor Vincent Crisanti, Ward 1 Etobicoke to get his take on the clean-up.
