A week ago we were anxiously waiting to see what would happen with Maxime Bernier’s open rebellion against the federal Conservatives. Since he announced his intention to start a party of his own, we haven’t exactly seen a groundswell of support. He’s been tweeting pictures from the lake but he says he still intends to file papers to get ready for the next election. Meanwhile 92 of 96 MP’s responding to a Globe and Mail survey said they would not join the proposed party. Libby speaks with Ashton Arsenault of Crestview Strategy to get his perspective.
