Ontario’s financial accountability officer has released the latest assessment of the province’s economy and the government’s fiscal outlook. Peter Weltman held a news conference to outline his first report since the PC’s took office in June. Weltman announced this past summer he’d look into the new government’s cancellation of the cap and trade program in order to determine how much that decision will end up costing the province.
