Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Omar Khadr applied for changes to his bail conditions so that he could be given a passport to travel to Saudi Arabia. Khadr’s application to the Court of Queen’s Bench in Edmonton also asked for him to be allowed to speak to his controversial sister, Zaynab Khadr. Khadr is also wants to take part in the Muslim “Haj” pilgrimage to mecca. We also talk about Canada’s national terrorism threat level now set at medium.
