Toronto Police have launched another traffic blitz targeting motorists who drive too fast. They are focusing on roads with posted speed limits above 50 kilometres an hour.
Toronto Traffic Sergeant Brett Moore says the lower the speed, the better able you are to survive a collision. The police are particularly focused on protecting vulnerable road users like pedestrians, older adults, cyclists and motorcyclists. The “Slow Down Toronto Campaign” begins this morning and runs through next Sunday. Libby welcomes Toronto Police Traffic Sergeants Brett Moore and Alexander Crews stop our studios to tell us more.
