It’s often joked here in Toronto that we have two seasons winter and construction. Mayor John Tory is expected to announce how spring and summer construction projects could affect their commute. Mayor Tory will kick off construction season in the city with a news conference at 9:30 a.m. One of the first major disruptions for drivers will be the complete closure of the Don Valley Parkway on the weekend of May 25 for spring maintenance. The city is expected to announce 50 major road restrictions, 27 moderate road restrictions and 51 minor road restrictions.

Libby speaks with Raymond Chan, Government Relations Specialist at the CAA and Brad Ross, the City’s Chief Communications Officer
