It’s that time of year in which many Canadian vehicle owners will have recently changed back to summer tires. Police and road safety advocates are calling on drivers to check the lug nuts on their wheels. This comes after a harrowing accident, yesterday, that left a 29-year-old woman with life-altering injuries. A tire flew off a vehicle on Highway 400 and crashed through the windshield of her car, leaving her with multiple fractures and broken bones in her face.
