Libby Znaimer is joined by Ernie Hardemann, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Christine Hogarth, MPP of Etobicoke-Lakeshore. They talk about the future of the Ontario Food Terminal.

The government of Ontario has decided not to move the Ontario Food terminal from its current location in South Etobicoke. It’s the biggest wholesale produce distribution centre in the country, the third largest food terminal in North America. It’s the place where wholesalers and retailers of fresh produce come together in the wee hours to buy, sell and get the fruit and vegetables to consumers as quickly as possible.
