Libby Znaimer speaks with Bruce Hawkins, Senior Communications Coordinator at the City of Toronto about why the Union Station revitalization is taking so long and how much it will cost.

A new pathway for public transit commuters has become the latest development related to ongoing construction at Union Station. From today onwards, travelers going between Go Transit and the TTC station will be diverted through a glass-covered, underground corridor that runs below Front Street. The Union Station revitalization project began in 2011. It is expected to be completed by the year 2020, which is five years longer than its initial deadline.
