Libby Znaimer is joined by Yaniv Or, Vice President of Technology and Data at Zoomer Media and Claudiu Popa, Cybersecurity Expert with Datarisk Canada and Author of the Canadian Cyberfraud Handbook.

Do you have a capital one credit card? Six million Canadians do and they are the latest to have their personal information stolen by a hacker. And this is just the latest in a string of data breaches in sensitive financial services – the same happened at Desjardins just weeks ago.

It affected 2.7 million people and 173,000 businesses. In 2017, a data breach at Equifax, one of the major credit reporting companies, exposed the SIN numbers and other sensitive information of about 19,000 Canadians.

This one is apparently larger than the others put together. What do you do to protect yourself?
