Libby Znaimer is joined by Sgt. Brett Moore of Toronto Police Traffic Services and Stephen Holyday, Councillor for Ward 2 Etobicoke Centre and Toronto’s Deputy Mayor.

Libby and guests discuss the ever controversial King Street Transit Corridor. Many drivers don’t seem to be getting the message that you can only drive for one block at a time between Bathurst and Jarvis before being forced to turn right.

Since the beginning of the project in November 2017 and this past July, Toronto Police have issued 16,000 tickets to drivers for violating this traffic law. Residents from the neighbourhood say drivers break the law constantly and there usually aren’t cops around to catch them.

Police say the culprits are often people from out of town. Are we just preying on hapless tourists and giving them a nasty souvenir?
