Libby Znaimer is joined by Councillor Paula Fletcher for Ward 14 Toronto-Danforth, NDP MPP Jessica Bell (University—Rosedale) and Darcie Garand, a Riverdale resident and acting vice-chair of the Lakeshore East Community Advisory Committee.

Toronto Mayor John Tory and his executive committee have voted in support of the Ontario Line.

The plan will go to vote at Toronto city council next week. Not everyone agrees with Mayor Tory that this is a good idea. The city has already received hundreds of e-mails and letters from residents and community members concerned over the noise pollution, the frequency of trains moving through their neighbourhoods and more.
