INFO – “Finance Minister Jim Flaherty has announced Pickering will get its own airport, ending decades of speculation of what would happen to the Pickering Lands, which border Regional Road 7 and Brock Rd in Clarington.

Plans to build the airport will begin immediately, Flaherty said.
