INFO – Dave Woodford and The K9 unit will tell Zoomers about the Dogs function in traffic stops, what the dog is looking for, and the training a K-9 officer goes thru. Constable Dog “Cash” is named after Johnny Cash. The Sheppard is all Black like Johnny Cash was recognized as the man in black.

Stephen Puddister, the Ministry’s Public Education Advisor, is presenting consumer workshops to seniors across Ontario including Toronto. His smart consumer workshops teaches consumer tips on: Identity theft, Door-to-door sales and contracts, Scams (telemarketing, charity, grandparent) & Gift cards.

TOPIC – Subdued Inflation = Continued Low Interest Rates

INFO – Statistics Canada reported today that inflation remained subdued in May at 0.7%, providing a further indication that the Bank of Canada will keep interest rates low notwithstanding its recent leadership change.
