TOPIC – What do you need to prepare before seeing a wills lawyer for the initial will appointment?

INFO- Many people are nervous about the initial meeting with a lawyer to prepare a will—how can you Plan accordingly? Les can provide some important reminders for Zoomers… Do you have an existing will? If so, bring it with you as you may be able to make a change without having to make a whole new will. Remember to bring in deeds to real estate, as owning property in joint tenancy is very different than owning as tenants in common. Zoomers will also want to check to see if they have designated a beneficiary on life insurance RRSP TSFA, before preparing a will.
