Bacon was at the heart of a lot of controversy this week! The World Health Organization has classified bacon and other processed meats as carcinogenic and placed them in the same category as cigarettes and asbestos. That created a media frenzy, and so did the backlash! Libby talks to Globe and Mail’s Health Columnist Andre Picard to get his perspective.

Plus – one of the world’s hottest chefs, Yotam Ottolenghi, was in Toronto this week! He spoke with Libby about the cuisine and culture of his home city Jerusalem, and his role as a meat-eater who glamourized vegetarian cuisine.
