Published reports indicate a Toronto retirement home, ordered closed by the province a year ago, is still open and operating in the Weston Road – Lawrence Avenue area. The home was accused of abusing and neglecting its residents in a Toronto Star expose four years ago and was ordered closed last November by the provincial regulator. The owner operator of what was know as “In Touch Retirement Living” apparently changed the name of the home to “Rosemount Place Seniors Affordable Housing”. Elaine Lindo is charged with operating without a licence.
