There is some good news on the employment front. The Canadian economy added 29-thousand jobs last month as more people found part time work. Economists had expected no new jobs would be created. Stats Canada says despite the gain, the unemployment rate remained unchanged in March at 6.8 percent. The agency says more people found jobs in retail and wholesale trade, transportation and warehousing, educational services and natural resources in March, while there were fewer people working in construction, public administration and agriculture.
