The electoral map through the 416 and the 905 has changed dramatically with just three Liberal incumbents being re-elected.
Kathleen Wynne held Don Valley West, Mitzi Hunter was reelected in Scarborough Guildwood and Michael Coteau is returning from Don Valley East.
Toronto’s downtown core is now a solid N.D.P. Orange with Tory Blue dominating the rest of the 416 and the 905. The one notable exception is in Brampton where the brother of Federal N.D.P. Leader Jagmeet Singh was elected.
Both Doug Ford’s P.C. leadership rivals, Caroline Mulroney and Christine Elliot, were elected in York Region.
Former Liberal Fiance Minister Charles Sousa was defeated in Mississauga-Lakeshore and Labour Minister Kevin Flynn was defeated in Oakville.
