She was a Broadway star, probably best known for playing Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago and playing a character based on herself in “All That Jazz.”
Singer, dancer and actor Ann Reinking died in her sleep in a Seattle hotel room over the weekend.
Her manager confirms the death. The cause is not yet known.
Reinking made her film debut in 1978’s “Movie Movie” and went on to star in the Bob Fosse biopic “All That Jazz.”
She won a Tony for best Choreography and received several other tony nominations over her career.
Ann Reinking was 71.
