He’s now 81 and suffers from Parkinson’s disease and doesn’t make many public appearances any more.
That’s why it was pretty special when Neil Diamond showed up at a Boston Red Sox game over the weekend to help sing his hit” Sweet Caroline.”
“Sweet Caroline” has been the Red Sox anthem since 1997.
Diamond’s appearance came four years after announcing his retirement from touring and this past March, he sold his entire songwriting and recording catalogue to Universal Music Publishing Group for an undisclosed amount of money, thought to be in the millions.
