Environment Canada is warning Toronto and much of the Golden Horseshoe region to brace for strong wind gusts beginning this afternoon.
The gusts could hit hit 70 to 90 kilometres per hour, before easing off overnight.
Winds of that magnitude can often result in fallen tree branches, power outages and lots of debris in the back yard.
Extra care should also be given when driving on highways.
