Romance, passion and fantasy take flight amid the special and unique love songs carefully selected by Toronto’s own diva of romance — Ziggy…from romantics of all ages, Chet Baker, Julie London, and Jimmy Durante, to Leonard Cohen, Van Morrison, and Amy Winehouse.

I only get to listen to the 11-12 hour while I drive to work in the Chicago area. I believe music enables time travel for those who believe it does.
I have thought this for a very long time.
Ziggy certainly does believe this. I must be blunt. I am a 49 yr old man in total touch with my emotions and I many times had more than a small chill up and down my spine with songs I don’t know and love every minute of it. Last night 19 Jan at about 11:37 when Rudy Valley
started singing in “Modern Love” from 1929, I had what must be described as a “brain-gasm” that made driving ‘unusual’ for a few minutes.
It was not “just” some good feeling, it was a ecstatic rush, up and down my spine for a minute or two.
For those who would question, I’m happily married with 2 girls.
Well done, Ziggy.
This radio show is absolutely wonderful and I listen to it regularly. I enjoy listening to Ziggy and she has a great voice! Many of the songs that Ziggy plays I have heard for the first time ever like “I only have eyes for you” (Jane Froman). I had no idea this song was from the 1930’s! Also songs like “Isn’t this a lovely day” ( Ginger Rogers) flood me with emotion. I don’t hear these songs anywhere else. You would not believe how unbelievable, beautiful, warm and rich these songs sound coming through a mid 1900’s vacuum tube radio console! Thankyou for playing songs like these!
First time I turned to AM740, Ziggy was playing the most romantic songs. Everything about the show is absolutely dreamy. This and Theatre of the Mind are my favourites from Zoomer and I listen to them every night. Thanks for giving me a good night’s rest.
Greetings from Vancouver Ziggy.
Just listening to Stardust. Your show is good on its own merits but for me it brings back memories of my university days living in TO. Can it be 20(!) years since you were on tv and my Aunt would say “there’s one in Toronto you haven’t dated yet” (much to everyone’s amusement in the house.)

Thanks for playing Cher’s “The Way of Love” sometimes. I like this Cher song very much. For a long time I’ve noticed how Cher’s early ’70s hits don’t get very much radio airplay. Stephen Harris (Oshawa)
