Not that surprising to hear Yves-Francois Blanchet has tested positive.
His wife tested positive earlier in the week and the Bloc Quebecois leader said he’d get tested as a precaution.
Blanchet says in a statement that he feels healthy and will remain in isolation until September 26.
Public health rules in Quebec state anyone who tests positive but does not have serious symptoms must stay in isolation for 10-days.
The BQ leader was already in self-isolation along with most of his caucus and other aides after a staff member caught the virus.
