Mayor Rob Ford says his first official meeting with Premier Kathleen Wynne was “productive,” though they didn’t see eye-to-eye on everything.

Ford says they discussed several topics, including hot-button issues such as transit and a proposal for a downtown casino in the city.

But he wouldn’t give any details on the talks, other than to say he and Wynne agree on some matters and “agree to disagree” on others.

Some observers had anticipated friction over the casino proposal after Wynne told the Ontario Gaming and Lottery Corp. last week she didn’t want Toronto to get any special deals to host a facility.

Ford, however, has said he believes the city should get a bigger share when it comes to casino revenues.

Meanwhile, transit funding has been a recurring issue for both the municipal and provincial governments.
