It was a frigid greeting when Prime Minister Harper met Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 leaders summit in Australia.
Putin approached the Canadian Prime Minister and extended a hand while Harper was speaking with other leaders.
It’s reported that Harper shook Putin’s hand but at the same time told him to get his troops out of Ukraine. Putin is said to have responded “we’re not there.
At the summit in Brisbane today, the G20leaders are discussing strategies to increase global G-D-P by 2.1 percent.
After a chilly reception by Harper and other leaders at the summit over his Crimea activities, Putin has decided to skip tomorrow’s meeting and head home early to Moscow.
