BlackBerry is laying off 200 employees: 125 at it’s home base in Waterloo, Ontario, and 75 in Sunrise, Florida.
The layoffs began on Thursday and will continue through February 26th.
The struggling high-tech company, once the darling of cellphone users, has chopped thousands of jobs in recent years.
In December, Blackberry reported a fiscal 3rd quarter loss of 3 cents per share on revenue of $557 million.
