Xavier Dolan has won what is considered to be the second-highest honour at the Cannes Film Festival.
The 27 year-old Quebec filmmaker was presented with the “Grand prix” for his film “Juste la fin du monde.”
It’s about a man who returns home to tell his family that he’s dying. It’s an adaptation of a play by Jean-Luc Lagarce.
The festival’s top prize, the “Palme d’Or,” was won by 79 year-old veteran British Director Ken Loach for “I, Daniel Blake.”
