A Federal Conservative Leadership candidate says she has been the victim of an apparent break-in at her home in Creemore.
Kellie Leitch released a statement Sunday night saying she was notified by a volunteer in her riding that someone who allegedly knew the MP’s home address was offering it up online to anyone who she says was interested in doing her harm.
Leitch says that activity was reported to the OPP on Friday.
But early Saturday morning her house alarm went off and though the lights in the garage had been turned on, no intruder was found
The Simcoe Grey MP did not participate in the second Conservative Leadership debate yesterday a spokesman confirmed Leitch left to meet with a private security consultant.
Kellie Leitch will be a guest on Fight Back with Libby Znaimer, Tuesday, right after the noon news.
