A new Forum research poll shows that the majority of Canadians are paying close attention to the ongoing SNC-Lavalin scandal.
According to the poll 55% of respondents said they could “confidently explain the situation related to the Prime Minister’s office and SNC Lavalin”.
27 % said they could “very confidently” explain it.
What’s more noteworthy is the 57% who said the situation has worsened their opinion of the Prime Minister, while 7 percent said it actually improved their view of Justin Trudeau.
59% of the 1,301 people polled said that the situation with SNC Lavalin and the Prime Minister’s office will impact how they vote this fall.
Canadians head to the polls on October 21st.
