Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip have received their COVID-19 vaccinations.
Buckingham Palace says the 94 year old monarch and her 99 year old husband inoculated at Windsor Castle over the weekend.
The palace says it released the news because the Queen wanted people to know she had taken the preventative injection against the COVID-19 and that her subjects have nothing to fear from the vaccine.
To date, some 1.5 million Brits have received their first dose of the vaccine .
