It was made by the National Film Board 56 years ago as an exploration of the early days of a Canadian arts icon.
Leonard Cohen was just 30-years of age when the N.F.B. decided he was worthy of a biopic.
The film was was released in 1965.
In honor of Canadian Jewish Heritage Month, the 44-minute black and white documentary will be broadcast this month.
Leonard Cohen went on to become one of the giants of Canadian music and poetry.
He died in 2016 at the age of 82.
