He’s flown fighter jets, walked in space and orbited the earth while commanding the International Space Station.  More recently, Canadian Astronaut, Chris Hadfield has been staying grounded writing a thriller set in outer space.

The astronaut turned author told Zoomer Radio’s The Morning Zoom with Sam and Jane the book is historical fiction set during the time of Nixon, Kissinger, Brezhnev and the space race with undercover spies, scheming Russians and psychopathic murderers.

Publishers Weekly described it as an”intelligent and surprising nail-biter.”

The Apollo Murders by the 62-year old Sarnia, Ontario native, is in book stores now.
