Back in the 1960’s there wasn’t an act more watchable than Sonny and Cher.
They divorced in 1975.
Sonny died in a skiing accident in 1998.
Now, Cher is suing Sonny’s widow for royalties to their song catalogue.
Cher claims that Mary Bono and others have tried to terminate business agreements Sonny and Cher reached when they divorced, including that each receive 50 per cent of songwriting and recording royalties.
Cher’s suit says that could be worth as much as $1,000,000.
