Andy Kim says when he got a call from the people at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre, he thought,”How could I resist?!”

“I got excited about it, because it’s an opportunity to talk about my music, to perform my music, and it’s almost like an intimate evening,” the legendary Canadian songwriter, performer, philanthropist and Order of Canada recipient told The Morning Zoom with Sam and Jane.

“You know, there are so many things that inspired me to write my songs and my journey from Montreal to New York City. So all of those things will be happening and it’s going to be very special and I’m looking forward to it,” Andy explained.

An Evening with Andy Kim is happening at The Burlington Performing Arts Centre on Friday October 6th.

Andy promises to come back and join The Morning Zoom with Sam and Jane when he announces his annual Andy Kim Christmas to benefit CAMH Gifts of Light.
