Lawyers are trying to reach the families of deceased veterans who are owed money through a class-action lawsuit.

“We’ve gone through Facebook and various other social media, we’ve communicated significantly through the legion,” says Lawyer Michel Drapeau.

The lawsuit found that Veterans Affairs miscalculated pension and disability benefits for former military and R-C-M-P members for two decades beginning beginning in 2003.

Claims can be made with K-P-M-G until next March.
