WestJet mechanics are being urged to return to work after the two sides reached a tentative deal to end a disruptive two-day strike.
Around 680 workers, whose daily inspections and repairs are essential to airline operations, walked off the job last Friday despite a directive for binding arbitration by the labour minister.
WestJet cancelled more than 800 flights over the Canada Day long weekend, affecting 110-thousand travellers.
The airline says there will still be flight disruptions in the week ahead as its planes are brought back into service.
