It’s official!
9,000 LCBO workers have launched the first strike in the crown corporation’s almost 100-year history.
Job security and lost revenue, the result of the Ford Government’ s push to bring more privatization to liquor sales, are at the heart of the dispute.
All LCBO outlets are to remain close for at least 2 weeks. Online sales will continue to operate as will the LCBO Convenience outlets in rural parts of the province.
