The Toronto Fringe Festival opens today, featuring more than 100 plays at locations around the city. The Fringe has been the birthplace of several Canadian hits in the past, including “Kim’s Convenience”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, and “da Kink in My Hair.”
One of the shows on this year’s bill is “Everything I Never Knew I Wanted”. Directed by Anne Wootten, it stars Stacey Bernstein portraying 21 characters — and a whale! — in the story of her search for her place in the world.
“Everything I Never Knew I Wanted” opens this evening at 6:30 at the Tarragon Extra Space.
The 2012 Toronto Fringe Festival runs until July 15th. Full details are available online at www.fringetoronto.com.
