Diana Krall paid a fitting tribute to the first man on the moon Saturday.
The Canadian singer-pianist offered a special rendition of the classic melody Fly Me to the Moon at a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to salute the passing of Neil Armstrong.
Armstrong died Saturday at the age of 82.
Krall says she once was lucky enough to share a glass of wine with the legendary astronaut.
She told the audience, “He’s probably thinking, ‘Do I have to listen to that song again?'”
