Two Richmond Hill City Councillors have come forward to say that the former Mayoral candidate who is alleging that Mayor Rob Ford touched her inappropriately  is not telling the entire story.

Greg Beros and Carmine Perrelli were at the event where the incident is said to have happened.

The two men say they heard Thompson say she wanted to set the mayor up for a picture  ahead of the next election.

Councillor Perrelli says Thomson’s version of events in the media today does not reflect what she said.

Mayor Rob Ford responded earlier today.

Here’s part of what he said in a written statement.

“Early this morning, false allegations were made regarding a number of disgusting actions.

I am shocked, dismayed and surprised.

I can say without hesitation that they are absolutely, completely false.”

Thomson is currently the chair of the Toronto Transit Alliance and says she may seek legal counsel.

Ford’s chief of staff said  says the Mayor had no alcohol to drink at the event.
