Doctors in the United States are urging physicians here in Canada to start screening all baby boomers for hepatitis C.
People born between 1945 and 1975 are said to be at the highest risk to be infected with the potentially deadly but curable, liver disease.
Hepatitis C is a major cause of cirrhosis of the liver and the most common reason for liver transplants in North America.
